2024 Christmas Follow-Up
Rick Retro’s Realm, Project #2: 2024 Christmas Follow-Up – A quick overview of a few we missed.
The 2024 Christmas Tour winds up when I post tomorrow’s review on Christmas Day.
On the tour, I watched and reviewed 20 highly-regarded Christmas-related feature films, and watched and reviewed, or at least graded, 14 holiday-themed short works, including films, television specials and a TV series episode. I also read and reviewed the Charles Dickens novella, A Christmas Carol. and the short story “The Greatest Gift” by Philip Van Doren.
Before the Tour, I checked ten lists of “All-time Best Christmas Movies” and focused on the films that made at least eight of the lists, watching them in chronological order.
However, for a handful of reasons, I skipped three films that made eight of ten lists. My next project is to go back and review those three films, while also watching two remakes each of the two older films. I'll watch in chronological order again.

Here’s the posting schedule for the upcoming reviews. As before, the number of all-time best Christmas movie lists the film landed on is found in parentheses at the end of each entry. And even though they didn't make eight lists, two of the four remakes here made at least three lists.
