The new century rolls along with more films I’ve seen at least twice and are likely to be graded A+:
#41 (2001) Monsters, Inc.
Pixar strikes again.
#42 (2001) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Like The Princess Bride, the book is better, but the movie is still fantastic.
#43 (2002) Chicago
After The Sound of Music and The Sting, this is the third Best Picture Academy Award winner to make our list.
#44 (2004) Bride and Prejudice
This might be a close call in qualifying as Whimsy, and maybe isn’t Dark enough to qualify. Great movie regardless!
#45 (2004) A Series of Unfortunate Events
I really want to read the book series.
#46-50 will be revealed tomorrow!
