Nice review! I recently reviewed this movie as well. It's my personal favourite movie adaptation of A Christmas Carol mainly because of the songs.

Despite my picky criticism that some of the songs could have been better, the songs add so much!
I also loved the extra humor added by the Muppets and the choice to have Charles Dickens be a narrator character.
